Party!!!
It makes me sad to even say this. My baby boy turned 7 this week! He, on the other hand, is not sad a bit! He had a blast at his party yesterday, and now is happy just calling me "Mom". WHAT??? The party went off pretty well, even though it rained. After all, this IS Florida in the summer. I decided to "throw caution to the wind" and let my kids all get soaked playing on the playground! BIG step for me. We had a good time with friends and family. He even got to share his birthday party with Papa Leo. Thank God I have until September before another kid gets older! I can't take much more of this! :)

I am thankful
I have had a wild weekend and it has yet to slow down! Friday night I went to get a pedicure and out to dinner with my friends Becky and Darlene. We talked and laughed for hours and I didn't want to go home. Luckily the husband didn't get salmonella from his burger sitting out too long! Darlene is the baby of our group and we were celebrating her birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLENE! I am so thankful for these 2 ladies and the difference they have made in my life!
Today we had lunch at my parents house for Father's Day. I am so blessed to still have my Dad here on Earth. Even if he does make faces like this!
Then we took our annual trip to the cemetary. The girls always take a blue balloon with an orange string out there on their Dad's birthday and Father's Day. It has been 3 years and this is still a very hard thing for me to do. There are girls my age that are just losing their Daddy. My girls should not have to go through this! They let their balloon go and we watched it until we couldn't see it anymore. I think Pink still believes that it goes all the way to Heaven!
I am very thankful on this day that I have a wonderful Daddy and a man in my life that loves my girls as if they were his. Even if he does act like one of them most of the time!
